FSANA Contract Carriers


APL provides customers around the world with container transportation and logistics services through a network combining high-quality intermodal operations with state-of-the-art information technology. APL is part of the Singapore-based NOL Group, a global transportation and logistics company engaged in shipping and related businesses.  

APL prides itself in offering excellent customer service. The FSANA contract with APL covers chilled, frozen, and dry cargo to Asia, India, the Middle East, and Europe. APL has been a primary carrier of several of our members shipping fresh produce, because of their reliability and short transit times to Southeast Asia. 


 CMA CGM is a worldwide leading container shipping group with reefer expertise. With 389 ships on 170 shipping routes and over 24,000 reefer plugs available a week, the French Group operates dry container services on all the world’s oceans and is a global player in refrigerated transport. CMA CGM has an organisation totally dedicated to reefers and a network of experts around the world in over 70 countries.  

CMA CGM's complete range of activities includes shipping, reefer services, handling facilities in port as well as logistics on land. FSANA has frozen, dry, and chilled rates to Asia and the Mediterranean with CMA CGM. 

Cosco Shipping

 Based in Beijing, China, China Ocean Shipping Company is one of the largest liner shipping companies worldwide. In addition to shipping and logistics, COSCO provides ship building and repairing, marine engineering, terminal operation, trade, financial and IT services. COSCO owns over 130 vessels and calls on over 100 ports worldwide. They are the largest dry bulk and line carrier in China.  

FSANA's rates with this Chinese carrier of long standing are dry rates to China. 

Evergreen Line

Headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, Evergreen Line is the common trade name for the Evergreen Group conglomerate of transportation firms and was established in 2007. The company's activities include: shipping, construction of containers and ships, management of ports, engineering and real estate development. Evergreen Line operates the fourth largest container fleet in the world and calls on over 200 ports worldwide in about 80 countries.

FSANA oldest contract is with Evergreen - dating back to 1996. This is a world wide contract that includes rates to Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South America, and the Caribbean for frozen, chilled, and dry cargo. Evergreen carries mostly frozen and dry commodities for FSANA members  

Hamburg Süd Group

Headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, the Hamburg Süd Group ranks among the major providers of worldwide ocean transportation and individual, one-source logistics solutions. Hamburg Süd employs more than 4,700 staff. It operates 148 ships and maintains a global inventory of some 338.000 containers in a wide array of sizes and configurations. Hamburg Süd is part of the Oetker Group, one of the largest and best-known family businesses in Germany.  

Hamburg Süd offers premier direct service to Australia and to South America. FSANA has chilled, frozen, and dry rates, both import and export to a number of destinations in these regions 

Hyundai Merchant Marine

Headquartered in Seoul, Korea, Hyundai Merchant Marine provides container shipping services within a global service network. It operates over 110 state-of-the-art vessels, diverse logistics facilities and leading IT shipping related systems. It was established in 1976 as Asia Merchant Marine and became a part of the Hyundai Group, in 1982. 

Hyundai's rates with FSANA includes chilled, frozen, and dry to Asia and the Middle East. These include an number of rates from inland points. 

ONE (Ocean Network Express)

ONE (Ocean Network Express) is a Japanese global transport company. ONE was formed as a new joint venture between, Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK), Mitsui O.S.K Lines (MOL), and K-Line. The fleet is composed of 240 container vessels, including 31 extra large container ships. (20,000 TEU)

   Along with Hapag Lloyd and Yang Ming, ONE is an integral member of THE Alliance. THE Alliance is intended to provide 34 services, directly calling at 81 different ports on a regular and continuous basis.

Orient Overseas Container Line

Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Orient Overseas (International) Limited and one of the world's largest integrated international container transportation, logistics and terminal companies. As one of Hong Kong's most recognized global brands, OOCL provides fully-integrated logistics and containerized transportation services, with a network that encompasses Asia, Europe, North America and Australasia. 

OOCL rates cover Asia, Europe, the Mediterranean, and Middle East for frozen, chilled and dry cargo. OOCL carries substantial amounts of chilled cargo for FSANA. 

Yang Ming

Headquartered in Keelung, Taiwan, Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation was founded in 1972 but has historical links with the China Merchants Steam Navigation Company dating back to the Qing Dynasty. Yang Ming's shipping and logistics services cover more than 70 nations and operate over 100 container and bulk ships as well as container terminals and stevedoring services.  

Yang Ming offers FSANA members excellent rates on frozen and dry commodities to North and Southeast Asia.  

Zim Integrated Shipping Services

Headquartered in Haifa, Zim Integrated Shipping Services is the biggest cargo shipping company in Israel and 10th largest in the world. ZIM was founded in 1945 with the early objectives of transporting hundreds of thousands of immigrants to Israel as well as securing the maritime connection with the young state, supplying food, freight and military equipment. Today ZIM has more than 60 weekly services with rapid transit times to 180 ports of call, end-to-end multi-modal services, full-service logistics, including state-of-the-art hubs in Asia, the Americas and Europe, and regional offices throughout the world. 

Zim Line mostly carries frozen commodities as well as some dry from the the U.S. West Coast to China and Japan for FSANA members.
